Sales Executive

A specialist metal supplier is looking for a business-to-business Sales Executive with sales experience in the manufacturing and engineering sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful team that rewards and values hard work and teamwork.

BASIC SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000

BENEFITS:

1. OTE £33,500- £38,500 per annum
2. Monthly bonus (approx £7,000 per annum)
3. Quarterly profit-related bonus (approx £1,500 per annum)
4. On-site parking

JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Account Manager - Metal, Engineering

As our Sales Executive, you will be joining an established team who are the first point of contact for our customers. You will be confident in your approach to communicating and will ideally have a technical/engineering background or at least be comfortable dealing with hands-on technical people.

We are currently looking to add to our sales team, and as an Internal Sales Executive/Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Being the initial point of contact for new and existing customers.
2. Researching and preparing quotations and proposals.
3. Negotiating and closing business opportunities while building long-lasting valued relationships with clients.
4. Liaising with customers on current stock levels, pricing, lead times, and products within a niche industry.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Account Manager - Metal, Engineering

Ideally, you will be experienced in internal sales and have some exposure to or an understanding of a technical/engineering/manufacturing environment.

You will have:

1. Excellent communication skills across all mediums.
2. The ability to calculate quotes and have a strong attention to detail.
3. A drive to learn about our product range.
4. The desire to be a team player with a professional and supportive approach.
