Embedded SW V&V Engineer

MERITUS are recruiting for an Embedded SW V&V Engineer to join our client in Stevenage on an initial 6 month contract to work within the Defence industry. PLEASE NOTE - This is an onsite role in Stevenage. Candidates must have sole British Citizenship.

EMBEDDED SW V&V ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £90 PER HOUR - 6 MONTHS - STEVENAGE - ONSITE - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Key Responsibilities:

1. A Software V&V Engineer capable of integrating and testing embedded Software.
2. Producing test requirements & test scripts for Unit, Subsystem and System level testing on both host and target platforms.
3. Running tests, analysing results and using target test facilities such as debuggers, probes, logic analysers and oscilloscopes.

Requirements:

1. Experience of the C Programming Language.
2. Experience of testing software products for ARM based multi-core processing platforms.
3. Experience of communications protocols (e.g. SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCI-Express).
4. Previous experience with testing embedded software.
5. Experience of DOORS.
6. Experience of test tools and techniques in both host and target environments.
7. Experience of test tools such as LDRA or equivalent for host testing.
8. Experience in model-based development, either in SysML/UML.
9. Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems such as PikeOS or FreeRTOS.
