An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Manager for UK Corporate Government Affairs. As Manager, UK Corporate Government Affairs, you will play an important part in supporting GSK’s government affairs engagement, primarily focused on the UK. You will help the UK Corporate government affairs team to navigate external developments impacting GSK, build stakeholder relationships, and tell GSK’s story effectively to political audiences. The role will also provide wider support e.g. on geopolitical issues and to the team’s work supporting GSK leaders, as well as supporting the VP, Global Corporate Government Affairs & Policy (GCGAP) in ad hoc assignments.
The role will be based in Global Corporate Government Affairs & Policy (GCGAP), a core part of our Corporate Affairs group. It will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across the business and with external agencies to help deliver our advocacy and engagement, including specific projects, with the aim of improving GSK’s operational environment so that we can effectively research, develop and manufacture innovative medicines and vaccines that make a difference to people’s lives.
You will be driven, a quick learner and intellectually curious, with a passion for making a difference and enjoy the challenge of working to a high standard on multiple projects and deliverables. You will be agile, responsive, and comfortable navigating change and using AI tools in your work.
