We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee substation construction and operations as part of a crucial renewable energy grid infrastructure project. This position offers the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the development and distribution of renewable energy across the region.
Project Supervision: Oversee the daily operations at the substation site, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Team Management: Lead and manage site personnel, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance evaluation.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety regulations and practices to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of all staff and contractors on site.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction progress, resource allocation, and other critical data. Regularly report project status to higher management and key stakeholders.
Issue Resolution: Actively resolve any technical or logistical issues that arise on site, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in substation projects or large-scale infrastructure works.
Strong understanding of grid infrastructure, electrical systems, and renewable energy transmission.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams.
Robust knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to construction and electrical work.
Relevant certifications in electrical engineering, construction management, or related fields are preferred.
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Based in Lincolnshire
Compensation: Day rate of £380
