Investment Advisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing fund investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio management to optimize returns.
2. Lead investment sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction execution for early-stage startups (Seed to Series A).
3. Monitor portfolio performance, prepare investment reports, and conduct market analysis to support decision-making.
4. Research global market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to refine investment strategies.

Investment Advisory & Deal Execution

1. Act as a key investment advisor to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family offices, and institutional investors.
2. Evaluate venture capital (VC) and private equity (PE) investment opportunities and provide tailored investment solutions.
3. Structure, negotiate, and execute investment transactions, including deal structuring, term negotiation, and risk assessment.
4. Engage in post-investment management, supporting portfolio companies’ long-term growth and exit strategies.

Regulatory Compliance & Oversight

1. Ensure investment activities comply with UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations and adhere to Appointed Representative (AR) obligations.
2. Ensure all investment advisory, deal execution, and investor relations activities align with the regulatory standards of Enkadon Capital’s Principal Firm.
3. Assist in the preparation of investment documentation, compliance reports, risk management reviews, and internal audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
4. Collaborate with legal, audit, and compliance teams to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence in business operations.

Investor Relations & Business Development

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners (LPs) and strategic partners, supporting fund growth and investment deployment.
2. Participate in investor meetings, fundraising roadshows, and market outreach to attract potential investors.
3. Represent the firm at global investment conferences, industry forums, and strategic negotiations to enhance market presence.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Strong background in fund management, asset allocation, and cross-border investments with expertise in LP-GP structures and fund operations.
2. Familiarity with UK and international financial regulations, fund compliance.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), investment banking, or asset management.
4. Proven track record in fund investments, asset management, financial analysis, and deal execution, particularly in Seed to Series A investments.
5. Experience in cross-border investments, fund structuring, and M&A transactions is a plus.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred).
7. Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, asset allocation, and risk assessment.
8. Strong communication and investor relations skills, with the ability to independently engage with LPs, fund managers, and HNWIs.
9. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global investment environment, with prior international investment experience being an advantage.
