Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, energetic, and innovative individual to join our nursery team!
We are looking for a full-time practitioner who can bring creativity, passion, and a positive attitude to their role. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children, following the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Implement engaging and creative teaching methods to stimulate learning and development
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
  • Actively promote positive child development and behaviour management strategies
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the nursery meets all safeguarding standards and health and safety regulations

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:

  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching and Learning, or a related field
  • Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, or currently enrolled in a relevant childcare course
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles
  • A natural enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for delivering excellent care and education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with children, parents, and the team
  • A positive, proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement
