You will work within the Children’s Allied Health Professional service as part of the Integrated Therapy Team to support children under 5 years old with a wide range of complex health and development needs. You will be based in Dundee but will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside in schools, community settings, homes, and health settings. You must be willing to travel between a number of sites.
You will bring knowledge and skills in working with young children and an understanding of disability and how to support children with additional needs and their families. You will also be working in universal and targeted models to support the understanding and empowerment of the parents and carers. The work is wide-ranging and includes joint work with partners in other agencies. You will join a supportive team where professional development is supported and encouraged.
You must have HND/SVQ IV in a relevant subject or equivalent experience/qualification.
