Job Title: Early Years Manager
Location: Doncaster
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Salary: Up to £33,000 pa
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Manager to join our team in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to lead and inspire a team in a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager/Owner in the daily operations of the nursery.
  • Oversee the recruitment of staff and new children into the setting.
  • Lead and develop team members within the nursery rooms.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in the Baby, Toddler & Pre-School Rooms in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Mentor and support all practitioners to provide high-quality childcare.
  • Promote a safe and secure environment that safeguards and supports children.
  • Foster high staff morale and teamwork within the nursery.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
  • Conduct self-evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and high standards of care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 4 or 5 desirable or willingness to work towards).
  • Paediatric First Aid Certification (essential).
  • Proven experience in early years teaching and childcare management.
  • Previous experience as a Manager or Deputy Manager in a nursery setting.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Passionate about child development and ensuring the best outcomes for children.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
