EARLY YEARS CHILDCARE MANAGER

Responsibilities

1. Ensure our young guests receive the highest level of care
2. Create and develop a happy, safe and stimulating environment
3. Train, manage and motivate a small team of childcare professionals
4. Plan and carry out a variety of age appropriate indoor and outdoor activities each week
5. Record keeping, where necessary
6. Maintain a high level standard of health and safety
7. Carry out detailed risk assessments
8. Ensure high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are met at all times
9. Be responsible for daily cleaning and regular deep clean of the crèche
10. Report any maintenance issues within the crèche in a timely manner
11. Communicate effectively with other departments who assist with the childcare operation
12. Communicate effectively with parents
13. Provide support to the rest of the childcare team
14. Respond to any emergencies in an effective and efficient manner
15. Work within ratio as and when required
16. Host evening activities
17. Prepare healthy and nutritious snacks for children
18. Work with the kitchen team to provide a balanced lunch and supper for children, daily
19. Work a minimum of 2 nights babysitting (for which you will be paid extra)
