The Centre

Our wonderful purpose-built Greenbank centre opened in September 2022. It is a spacious 120 place centre. With full onsite parking, it is situated close to Woolworths, a café and bakery as well as the tavern. We have 6 beautiful light filled learning spaces designed to inspire curiosity, fun and a sense of belonging. In addition to dedicated art spaces and ateliers. Architecturally designed outdoor play spaces full of intrigue and adventure. You’re all set to offer an engaging and exciting environment for children.

The Opportunity

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be part of a passionate team where you will enjoy:

1. Leading a team of educators with a focus on individual development and mentoring in the education, care, and supervision of each child at the centre.
2. Building lasting and meaningful relationships with families, so they feel informed and sure their children are receiving the best education and care in the community.
3. Supporting Educators to deliver the best in contemporary early childhood thinking and practice and supporting the centre leadership team to implement and embed the Guardian Curriculum.
4. Making your Centre an example of why Guardian is driven by its mindsets of being brave, positive, thoughtful, and professional in all aspects of what we do.
5. Implementing an educational program that is visible in the centre environment and on Storypark, that provides opportunities for families, children, and educators to view and contribute their ideas and suggestions to the program. This includes maintaining children’s learning and development profiles.
6. Contributing to the self-assessment process and the strategies for continuous improvement.

To be considered, you will have:

1. Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
2. Proven knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
3. Previous experience working in the early childhood sector (essential).
4. Valid Working with Children’s Check (QLD Blue Card).
5. A desire to work in the Kindy room.
