We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic Class Teacher who can bring teaching and learning to life to build on the strengths and vision of our school to ensure all children can be the best they can be. Is that you?
We are looking for someone who:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the duties of a school teacher as set out in the current “School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document”, the post holder would be required to undertake the following responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Recognised appropriate teaching qualifications
• A commitment to continuing personal professional development
Knowledge:
• Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum appropriate to the children in the primary age range
• The ability to employ a range of teaching strategies appropriate to different abilities and needs
• The ability to evaluate effectively and plan flexibly, as an individual and as part of a team
• Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development.
• Preparing and marking to facilitate positive pupil development.
• The ability to incorporate ICT, cross-curricular skills, themes, and dimensions in teaching.
Experience:
• Teaching experience in primary school(s). (or for N.Q.T.s – school experience placements)
