Location: Ashington

Salary: £150 - £220 per day (DOE)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Daily Supply | Long Term

The Role of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary:

As an ECT, you'll engage and inspire young learners, delivering high-quality lessons tailored to different abilities. You'll create a stimulating classroom, assess progress, and support students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities of an Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary:
  1. Plan & deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum
  2. Teach KS2 (ages 7-11) pupils
  3. Use varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles
  4. Assess progress & provide feedback
  5. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  6. Collaborate with colleagues for effective teaching strategies
What You Need to be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Primary:
  1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  2. Experience as an ECT or in a similar primary teaching role
  3. Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
  4. Ability to motivate & inspire students
  5. Commitment to safeguarding & child welfare
