Location: Hybrid (London-based with remote flexibility)

Contract Length: 6 months (with potential extension)

Day Rate: £800 - £1,000 (DOE)

Are you a seasoned finance leader with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation? We're looking for a Finance Transformation Director to spearhead a strategic finance overhaul, driving efficiency, digital innovation, and best-in-class financial operations.

The Role

As Finance Transformation Director, you will take ownership of a high-profile transformation programme, ensuring the finance function is optimised for scalability and long-term growth. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and executing the finance transformation strategy in line with business objectives

Redesigning finance processes, controls, and reporting frameworks for greater efficiency and accuracy

Leading the implementation of new finance systems and automation technologies

Enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities

Driving cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and improved financial governance

Partnering with CFO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to embed sustainable change

What We're Looking For

Extensive experience as a Finance Transformation Director or senior finance leader in a complex, multi-entity organisation

A proven track record in delivering end-to-end finance transformation programmes

Strong expertise in finance operating model redesign, digital finance solutions, and automation

In-depth knowledge of ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.)

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing at board level

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred
