Position Overview:

AEG Fuels is seeking dedicated and proficient Flight Dispatchers to join our dynamic Flight Operations team. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and safe conduct of flights by providing meticulous flight planning and monitoring. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methods in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Shift Preparation:

  • Review shift reports and receive comprehensive dispatch briefings.
  • Stay updated with current weather conditions, NOTAMs, enroute hazards, and other critical flight safetyinformation.
  • Ensure adherence to updated policies and procedural manuals.

Flight Planning and Monitoring:

  • Respond to trip requests, providing itineraries and draft flight plans.
  • Address multiple-leg trips, performance issues, weight and balance considerations.
  • Assess aircraft maintenance statuses to determine flight readiness.
  • Develop and review flight plans ensuring compliance with FAA and international regulations.
  • Perform continuous flight monitoring and provide crucial updates to flight crews.

General Duties:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company and client-specific operations specifications and safety regulations.
  • Complete annual and recurrent dispatcher training as required.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical support and operational efficiency.
  • Manage recordkeeping for flight dispatch services and assist with billing tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Valid FAA Aircraft Dispatch Certificate.
  • Minimum of 6 months of flight dispatch experience.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • 2-5 years of experience in flight dispatch operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with flight crews and internal teams.
