What does the role look like?

Working in the Civil OE Returns Centre, this role involves the day-to-day processing of materials being returned to suppliers in SAP, ensuring adherence to Purchase Order, packing, and dispatching requirements. This is a critical function for stock management and financial compliance. The role supports operations and supply chain by ensuring customer returns are available for repair and investigation in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will join the Logistics Team and be responsible for supporting production needs to achieve customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, and cost targets, while maintaining industry-specific performance standards.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

• Create daily shipment packs via SAP, courier, and customer portals.
• Raise Quality notes in SAP.
• Process scrap parts both physically and in SAP.
• Liaise with couriers to arrange shipments via email, telephone, or portals.
• Learn different shipment requirements (full training provided).
• Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Production Control to ensure on-time shipments.
• Verify dispatch documents, materials, components, and quantities against documentation requirements and procedures.
• Ensure proper packing of products to specific standards, including using lifting devices for heavy items (EHS & PPE standards apply).
• Maintain accurate record systems (e.g., dispatch logs).
• Sort and segregate waste for recycling and uphold high 7S housekeeping standards.
• Ensure security procedures are followed when liaising with couriers onsite, including checking driver IDs.
• Be flexible to work Days, Double Days, and weekends as required.

What will you bring to the role?

Essential skills:

• Computer literate with experience using Microsoft packages, SAP, and customer/courier portals.
• High level of attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills (telephone and email) and ability to work independently under pressure.

Desirable skills:

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of packing requirements and ability to handle different product types.
• Ability to work as part of a team with a flexible and proactive approach.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and a “can-do” attitude.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement (ACE goals) and responsive to change.
• Understanding of quality requirements and ability to follow procedures.
• Interest in developing skills in Quality Engineering, Materials Logistics, or Operational Support.
