Annie lives in her own flat in Edinburgh and is supported to live independently. She enjoys watching a variety of sports on TV including tennis, athletics, and rugby. Annie regularly visits the local library to get both printed and audio books and enjoys shopping at the nearby Sainsbury’s.
Annie is a lovely young woman who loves spending time with her PAs, enjoys chatting, and has a wicked sense of humour. She likes watching the news, movies, and various programmes, particularly on Netflix and Disney. Christmas is her favourite time of the year, and she loves music, especially pop and rock.
Annie needs a dedicated team around her who are compassionate and person-centred, respecting her wishes and supporting her interests. If this is you, we would love to hear from you!
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. Your role may include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while expanding social networks and connections.
ENABLE creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and aspirations of the people we support are met.
If you share the same interests and have the commitment and desire to support Annie, please apply now! You don’t need experience in care to start your social care career with Enable. We recruit people based on their values and transferable skills.
