Job description

My client is looking for an experienced full-time legal secretary to join their busy team in Berkhamsted working in the Private Client department. Consideration will be given to applicants interested in exploring job share arrangements for this position. Experience in the specific practice areas would be an advantage.

Salary is from £24,000 - £26,000 pa depending on experience. Hours are 9 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Friday and comes with 25 days holiday and pension.

Key skills required:
  1. Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably in Private Client, although other legal secretarial experience will be considered.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills and clear written and oral communication.
  3. Proven audio typing experience.
  4. Excellent organisational skills.
  5. Ability to communicate both in writing and orally with a wide range of people.
  6. Able to organise the workload to meet challenging/changing deadlines ensuring prioritisation of different work matters across the team.
  7. Proven IT skills, including the use of case management systems, MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
