We are opening a brand-new, high-end Pan-Asian restaurant, bringing a vibrant and innovative dining experience to Sussex. We are seeking passionate and experienced culinary professionals to join our kitchen team and contribute to our success.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

1. Head Chef (Pan-Asian Cuisine)
  • Role: Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus, train and mentor kitchen staff, and maintain strict hygiene and safety standards.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Head Chef role.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in Japanese and Korean cuisine, with a strong understanding of other Pan-Asian culinary traditions.
  • Proven ability to create and execute high-quality menus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to manage food cost and labour cost.
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus service charge, team member discounts, free meals, and potential bonuses.
2. Sous Chef
  • Role: Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure smooth and efficient service. Take charge in the absence of the Head Chef and contribute to menu development.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Proven experience in a senior chef role, ready to step up to a Head Chef position.
  • Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine.
  • Excellent culinary skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in stock management and ordering.
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus service charge, team member discounts, free meals, and potential bonuses.
3. Chef de Partie
  • Role: Prepare and cook high-quality Pan-Asian dishes according to restaurant standards, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Solid understanding of Pan-Asian culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar restaurant environment.
  • Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience, plus service charge, team member discounts, free meals, and potential bonuses.
