What will you be doing as a Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at iamproperty you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex web-based applications, websites, and software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, UX designers, and other software engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

• You will be a valuable part of the highly collaborative cross-functional Scrum squad.
• You will bring experience and steer the discovery, development, and maintenance of complex web-based applications, websites, and software solutions.
• You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced software engineers.
• You will participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
• You will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
• You will troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality.
• Contributes to the development of organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for software engineering.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (desirable)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development
• Minimum of 2 years AWS and/or other cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Experience with agile software development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
