Job Description:

Warehouse Operative – Various Shifts
£12.45 - £17.44 hourly rate plus great benefits (£12.45/hr base rate plus £1.87/hr back shift allowance, £3.12/hr night shift allowance and £1.87/hr weekend shift allowance)
37.5 hours per week, full time
5 days over 7, including weekends
Avonmouth CDC, Cabot Park, Poplar Way West, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 0YW.

  • Days shift – 06:00 to 14:00 on a rota basis working 2 in 3 weekends
  • Back shift – 14:00 to 22:00 on a rota basis working 2 in 3 weekends
  • Back shift – 12:00 to 20:00 on a rota basis working 2 in 3 weekends
  • Hybrid shift – 10:00 to 18:00 on a rota basis working 2 in 3 weekends
  • Night shift – 22:00 to 06:00 on a rota basis working 2 in 3 weekends

We also provide a transport service with our 3rd party provider Zeelo - with local pickups and on-site drop offs, around the Bristol area.

We’re looking for Warehouse Operatives to work at our Avonmouth depot. No experience is required, all training is provided and the role comes with a competitive salary and great benefits package.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Pick and pack stock for store orders across the warehouse (frozen, chilled, and ambient) using the appropriate manual handling equipment
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with cages and pallets
  • Distribute products to the correct location in the warehouse
  • Work in a team to achieve key targets

This Warehouse Operative role would suit people who can comfortably perform manual tasks. You’ll also need:

  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to work towards targets
  • Good organisational skills
