What We are Looking For

We are currently recruiting for an Assembly & Test Operator to join the team in Lincoln. This role will be a key member of the site Operations team and report into the Production Manager. Working within a team of highly skilled and experienced Technicians and Engineers, the Assembly & Test Operator will spend their time carrying out a range of electronic and mechanical assembly tasks in addition to production related automated testing. The ability to closely follow written assembly instructions, possess manual dexterity and have good attention to detail are of the utmost importance in this role to ensure the high quality of our safety critical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Electro-mechanical assembly (PCBs and cables into mechanical housings using various fixings, coatings and encapsulation equipment).
  2. Automated testing (using computer assisted test equipment).
  3. Operation of various processing equipment.
  4. Recording the completion of operations using computer software.
  5. Reporting of deviations and non-conformances relating to the assembly and test of product.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Experience of carrying out close tolerance work.
  2. Ability to follow assembly and test instructions.
  3. Be flexible and hardworking to help support the needs of the business.
  4. Experience in the assembly and test of electronic assemblies in a similar environment would be beneficial.
  5. Experience of meeting targets in a pressurised production environment would also be an advantage.

What We Can Offer You

No shift work and an early finish on a Friday! – the site works a standard 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 4.00pm, (7.30am – 12.30pm).
