Regional Sales Manager Daylight & Roof Glazing Systems

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Rooflights, Smoke Ventilation & Glass Roofs

Industry Sector: Daylight Systems, Roof Windows, Glazing, Skylights, Roof lights, Roof Glazing, Roofing, Building Envelope, Canopies, Curtain Walling, Facades, Cladding, Insulation, Dome Roof Lights, Panel Glazing, Structural Glazing, Smoke Ventilation

Area to be covered: South West & South Central

Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000 + 25% bonus

Benefits: £625 car allowance & full benefits package

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Sell a high-quality manufactured range of daylight systems such as roof glazing, roof windows, roof domes, large glass systems, daylight windows, glazing ventilation systems, smoke exhaust systems, and heat systems.
  2. Generate specifications with architects, building surveyors, tier 1 contractors, roofing contractors, and installers.
  3. Target to achieve circa £1m turnover.
  4. Manage large project sizes from £20k-£350k+.
  5. Work on predominantly commercial projects such as universities, colleges, gyms, and hospitals.
  6. Maintain a good split between new business and account management.
  7. Constantly update and maintain the CRM system.
  8. Work closely with internal and external support teams and colleagues throughout the sales process.
  9. Follow the design build process through to installation.
  10. Exhibit high levels of organizational skills such as planning, punctuality, and foresight.

Ideal Candidate:

  1. Experience selling a technical related product such as glass, glazing, roof windows, daylight systems, cladding, facades, canopies, roof lights, skylights, ceilings, curtain walling, or smoke ventilation systems.
  2. Experience selling through specifications via architects or tier 1 contractors.
  3. Contacts with large tier 1 contractors or architect practices are preferred.
  4. Hungry and passionate about career progression.
  5. Strong technical understanding.
  6. Experience conducting CPDs.
  7. A strong work ethic with ambition to grow their sales career.
  8. Strong computer literacy skills.
