Are you a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a new challenge in a ward-based setting in London? We have an exciting ongoing locum opportunity for a motivated and skilled pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team!

Job Title: Band 7/8a Clinical Pharmacist
Location: London
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Start Date: March 2025
Rate of Pay: £30 - £40 per hour

What You'll Be Doing: As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be based on the wards, ensuring the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications. You will conduct medication reviews, offer advice on pharmacotherapy to multidisciplinary teams, and assist in optimizing patient care plans. Collaboration with medical and nursing staff will be key to ensuring positive patient outcomes. Your role will also involve providing clinical support, ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of pharmaceutical services, and monitoring drug interactions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. Current GPhC registration
  2. Previous experience working in a hospital ward-based setting
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  5. Knowledge of ward-based pharmaceutical services
  6. Flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with full-time hours. The contract is ongoing, with the potential for an extension based on performance and service needs.
