An established industry player is seeking a Grade 4 Network Planner to join their Lincoln depot. This role is crucial for designing and managing electricity distribution networks, ensuring excellent service delivery to customers while minimizing disruptions. We are currently recruiting for a Grade 4 Network Planner to join us at our Lincoln depot. Planners design our network and work with our Engineers to construct, reinforce, alter and replace our equipment. As you can imagine, the pace is fast, and if you join us, our customers will trust you to provide excellent service and minimise any impact.
To apply you’ll need English and Maths GCSE at Grade C/Level 4 minimum OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above. We’ll need to see evidence of your qualifications.
As part of our hybrid working approach this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can only be considered once your initial training is complete and subject to business need.
You’ll be hands-on and customer focused, managing multiple projects at the same time, including the design, costing and quoting of existing and new electricity network assets, you will also:
We need you to understand our customers and their needs; strong communication skills are key, so you can solve their problem and explain issues simply and clearly. As you’ll be in control of your diary, we’ll need you to be resilient, organised and able to prioritise your workload. Team players thrive in this role, and experience using iPads and computers is a must. You will need to be mobile throughout the area, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
You may not possess all the skills required to carry out the role at present but you will have the confidence and ability to reach the necessary standards with appropriate training.
If not already attained you will be required to undertake a Level 2 City & Guilds 2339 qualification and complete TAR, which includes daily diary completion and a number of tasks and reports as required.
A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
