What you’ll do

1. Be responsible for the standard and quality of all architectural solutions within the Value Stream.
2. Oversee all the architectural solutions developed across the Agile Release Train(s), which are across a broad range of specialisms.
3. Be responsible for the architectural and technology strategy and vision for the Value Stream, informed by and contributing to the Portfolio architectural strategy.
4. Support the breakdown of Epics into Capabilities and initial breakdown of Capabilities into Features, creating solutions and design.
5. Define enabler Capabilities to drive architectural runway, being able to communicate priority to business decision makers.
6. Participate in cross-Value Stream & Portfolio architecture governance and work with Solution Architects from outside the value stream.

What you'll bring

You are a naturally collaborative, inquisitive, energetic, “hands on”, self-starter with a real passion for Solution Architecture. You will have had extensive experience in all or most of the following:

1. Performing a Solution Architect role in an organisation with multiple divisions or business units.
2. Working with business & technology leadership and multiple stakeholders to deliver Solution Architecture at a Value Stream level, aligning to commercial and IT strategy, ideally within a SAFe context.
3. Architecture and design governance, business case development and strategic planning.
4. Background in large scale system integration, with a working knowledge of Business and Operational Support System capabilities.
5. Provisioning and in-life service of communication products (e.g. Broadband, Fibre, Ethernet).
6. Awareness of or experience with the Salesforce ecosystem.
7. Industry awareness and/or experience of operating in the B2B sector.

We’re made up of problem solvers and strategic thinkers, who influence the direction the business is headed by looking at the bigger picture. From developing super tight cyber security operations that protect our systems, to supporting our Group CTO through our Central Services Function, we manage and deliver large-scale, transformational programmes and make sure we’re always ahead of the game.

Your office space

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
