Role Summary

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the core configuration of the system and working closely with the ongoing development of a system called Compendia. This includes contributing to development plans, reviewing enhancement requests, Compendia rollouts, and producing prototypes for new functionality.

This role is ideal for you if you have experience in implementing pensions software or are a pensions administrator with a good understanding of UK pensions looking for the next step in your career.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

1. Working across all aspects of the Compendia Touch application
2. Liaising with clients (both internal and external) to understand their requirements for the Compendia Touch application
3. Analysing, documenting, and estimating client requirements
4. Configuring and testing the Compendia Touch application
5. Enhancing and developing the Touch Model
6. Improving the implementation practices and procedures
7. Working closely with the development team to refine and improve the system

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills, and behaviours:

1. Strong experience as an Implementation Consultant
2. Educated to degree standard preferred but not essential
3. Experience of using Pension Configuration Tools and MS SQL
4. LGPS experience would be advantageous
5. Relevant qualifications in the Pensions & Actuarial Industry desirable (e.g., Pensions Management Institute Certification)
6. At least 1-3 years of experience in the Pensions Industry, either as a Scheme Administrator or Business Analyst experienced in capturing requirements for Pensions IT Projects
7. Demonstrable software development capability
8. Demonstrate commercial awareness & operational efficiencies/income generation in the current role
