Senior Platform & Application Engineer

Remote (UK Preferred)

Up to £90,000 + Benefits

What you’ll be doing

• Architecting and managing AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, and observability.
• Building and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Developing scalable APIs in TypeScript, deployed on AWS.
• Implementing automated testing frameworks like Vitest or Jest.
• Embedding security best practices across the platform.
• Managing deployments with Docker, AWS Lambda, and API gateways.

What you’ll need

• Experience working in a production environment with a blend of start-up and enterprise background
• 5+ years of AWS experience, with strong knowledge of security and scalability.
• 5+ years of Terraform expertise in complex cloud environments.
• 5+ years of TypeScript development experience.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, and API gateways.
• Experience with automated testing & cloud security best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding.
• Bonus if you have: FinTech experience / Svelte front-end experience.
