NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a permanent, part-time post of 18.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Sunday (2.5 days over 7).

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Treatment Room Nurse Coordinator as part of the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) Community Treatment and Care service within East Renfrewshire HSCP. Working in partnership with patients, carers, GP practices, and other Primary and Secondary care key stakeholders.

The Treatment Room Nurse Coordinator will be responsible to the Clinical Team Leader and accountable for the coordination of activities, rostering and staffing in East Renfrewshire Treatment Rooms, and staff based in GP practices as part of the Community Treatment and care service (CTAC).

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with a Community Practitioner Nurse Prescriber (V150) /Nurse Independent Supplementary (V300) qualification or working toward, and have the relevant community experience, transferable skills, and be willing to undertake further professional development related to the role.

Applicants require a minimum of three years post-registration experience.

A full driving license/car owner is essential for this post.
