Live Nation UK's Marketing Partnerships Division is looking for a highly resourceful team player to bring their passion for marketing and music culture to the position of Director, Marketing & Creative Solutions, EMEA / UK Marketing Partnerships.

As Director, Marketing & Creative Solutions, EMEA, you'll be tasked with developing and coordinating brand pitches with a multi-market, pan-European focus. You will use your strong knowledge of popular culture and consumer trends, proven marketing acumen and creative storytelling techniques to communicate a narrative that will compel brands to partner with Live Nation across multiple markets. You will work closely with the SVP and Head of Marketing & Creative Solutions, and SVP & Head of International / EMEA Media & Sponsorship.

The Marketing & Creative Solutions team within Partnerships create innovative and engaging marketing platforms that are designed to solve client challenges through the powerful lens of live music culture. The Marketing & Creative Solutions team, our in-house strategy and creative experts, work in tandem with the sales team to form strategy, big ideas and business solutions for brands. Through needs analysis, fan insights, exhaustive research of the client and their audience, as well as internal ideation sessions, the team ultimately craft a strategic music marketing platform designed to solve brand's business objectives and KPIs.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in brand marketing, advertising, media, digital or entertainment / sports marketing
  • EMEA and / or UK market experience
  • Experience writing sellable storytelling led marketing proposals
  • Creative and strategic thinker
  • Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas internally and externally
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines at once
  • Extremely resourceful, team player
  • Flexible, fast learner
  • High degree of self-initiative
  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, and Word to develop presentations and budgets
  • Conversant in music culture / popular culture
  • Additional language proficiency beyond English, a plus

What the Role Includes

Proposal Development

  • Lead ideation and collaborative work sessions to develop brand solutions leveraging Live Nation's portfolio of assets (focus on multi-market EMEA)
  • Develop impactful marketing proposals that tell a compelling brand story and strategically meet client objectives
  • Leverage research assets to uncover insights, beliefs and behaviours of live music fans as pertaining to brand and proposition
  • Collaborate with International Media Services and Digital Product teams to drive scale and reach of proposed marketing programmes
  • Develop budgets within Live Nation and client parameters to support proposed proposition
  • Acquire a thorough working knowledge of Live Nation EMEA assets and capabilities, and identify their role in achieving brands business objectives
  • Brief and develop visually pleasing proposals leveraging Live Nation tools / templates and image archives in collaboration with a Jr Designer


Multi Market Coordination (EMEA focus)

  • Develop standardised sales materials and case studies for brand pitches showcasing capabilities and proven success
  • Establish asset, programme and budget feasibility through communication with internal stakeholders across multiple markets
  • Assist in the establishment of new processes for market category availability, approvals and clearances
  • Responsible for scheduling, prioritization and project management of multiple pitches including setting expectations and providing updates to key stakeholders
  • Track weekly project status and quarterly work flow analysis


Client Communication

  • Liaise with prospective clients alongside sales leads to acquire brand information pertinent to the proposal development process
  • Where necessary, periodically attend client meetings to present programme proposals, alongside sales leads
