A renowned architectural practice is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join its London office. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to BIM coordination.

About the Role

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating BIM workflows and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project teams in implementing UK BIM Framework standards and ensuring adherence to BS EN ISO 19650-2.
  • Managing digital workflows and maintaining structured project data within a collaborative environment.
  • Overseeing Revit model management, troubleshooting issues, and optimising file structures.
  • Conducting clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
  • Providing training and guidance to project teams on best BIM practices.
  • Collaborating with external consultants and stakeholders to align BIM processes across disciplines.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum three years of industry experience in an architectural discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the UK BIM Framework and BS EN ISO 19650-2 implementation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture), with experience in most of its functionalities.
  • Additional experience with Navisworks, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
  • Dynamo skills are desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to BIM coordination.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to support and guide design teams.
