Teaching Assistant Role within Bath schools.

Team Educate are recruiting for passionate teaching assistants who specialise in working with children within an educational setting.

As a teaching assistant, you will be working with pupils on a 1-1 basis or within small groups to support their learning, encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour. The teaching assistant we are looking for will be confident working with KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4 pupils, in a mainstream primary & secondary school environments.

2. Empathetic and nurturing characteristics
3. High expectations of the children in their care

Responsibilities:

1. Providing 1:1 support
2. Delivering group activities from the teachers' planning
3. Preparing and setting up resources
4. Using your own initiative
5. Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children

Requirements:

1. Have an enhanced Child Workforce DBS (that is on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed)
2. References that can be contacted to ensure the last 2 years of employment are covered.
3. Right to Work documentation.

Pay: 86.00- 95.00 per day
