Engineer (Fire & Security Systems) - Leicester - Basic Salary £28,000 - £42,000 Per Annum

Package Overview:

  1. £28,000- £42,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
  2. Plenty of opportunities to increase earnings (Over time & call out rota)
  3. Company vehicle, pension scheme, fuel card, laptop, mobile phone & travel pay
  4. Full-time, permanent
  5. Hours of work- Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
  6. Excellent progression and training opportunities
  7. Area covered -Leicester (Leicestershire and the surrounding areas)
  8. Field based role covering a number of sites

You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. All of the work is carefully planned out and allocated to each engineer's strengths and location. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Installation, Service, Repair, Fault-finding & Maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV & Access Control Systems
  2. Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
  3. Carry out effective communications with the client and administration team
  4. Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to
  5. Work closely with other engineers and provide support and training to more junior members of the team

Skills and Experience:

  1. Ideally 3 years' experience working within a similar role
  2. Good understanding of most systems e.g. Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control is preferred
  3. Knowledge of a range of manufacturers
  4. You will be willing to learn new systems
  5. You will hold a Full UK driving Licence or equivalent
  6. A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
  7. A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
  8. Experience of an electrical background would also be very useful
