Bid Manager (Rolling Stock)
Loughborough | £350 to £450 per day (Outside IR35) | Initial 3-6 month contract

The Opportunity:

Ford & Stanley Interim is seeking a Bid Manager to support and coordinate bid responses in an efficient and timely manner. This role is not focused on bid writing but on managing the end-to-end bid process, ensuring all required inputs are gathered from key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality bid submissions for contracts ranging from tens of thousands to multimillion and multi-year opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Bid Manager with rail sector experience to play a crucial role in our client's continued growth in freight and passenger services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the entire bid lifecycle, from receipt to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
2. Liaise with internal teams including engineering, operations, HR, and procurement to gather necessary bid content.
3. Analyse bid requirements and ensure compliance with client specifications.
4. Drive timely decision-making and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders.

Essential Criteria:

1. Proven experience in bid management within the rail sector
2. Strong knowledge of the rail industry processes and requirements
3. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
4. Ability to work autonomously and under pressure to meet deadlines
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
