This highly regarded Insurance Company, long established and offering long-term career opportunities, is seeking to recruit an Insurance Underwriter.

Responsibilities:

1. Underwrite commercial risks within agreed authority levels.
2. Negotiate and maximize business profitability through effective underwriting decisions and techniques.
3. Review products offered both online and offline (including panels and schemes) to ensure compliance with high standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Build strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers, and business units; assist in the development of these relationships through presentations, meetings, and corporate events.
5. Provide support and training to less experienced team members to develop their technical/commercial proficiency and contribute to ongoing business initiatives.
