Role: Lead Data Services Specialist (Data Optimisation)
Location: Remote with occasional travel (National)
Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £70,000

iO Associates is excited to partner with a digital healthcare consultancy that supports the NHS in EPR Transformations. We are on the lookout for a talented leader to join the Data Optimisation team on a permanent basis. You will be instrumental in planning, executing, monitoring, and managing healthcare data services projects. As the primary technical contact for clients, you will lead specific projects, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to standards.

This role is primarily remote, but occasional travel to the site may be required for go-live support. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical delivery of data services projects, ensuring milestones are achieved
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and management
  • Handle escalations, coordinate reviews, and mitigate risks
  • Align with core values and performance objectives
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with standards
  • Follow data services practices and client standards
  • Document processes and best practices
  • Keep technical knowledge current

Skills:

  • Expertise in PowerBI desirable (SSRS or QlikView could be considered)
  • Experience in healthcare data services delivery
  • Strong all-round data warehousing skillset
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Strong technical knowledge in data optimisation
  • Understanding of NHS data model and reporting requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in risk management and progress monitoring
