We’re looking for a dynamic and versatile Marketing Communications Assistant for a Year in Industry placement to join our busy marketing and communications team. This is a chance to make a real impact by utilizing both online and offline marketing channels to enhance brand awareness and engage with customers, particularly in the manufacturing sector. You’ll also play a key role in keeping our employees informed through effective internal communications. Undergraduate student applications only.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Supporting Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute communications and lead generation activities for our Process Cooling Solutions (PCS) business line. This includes creating social media content, website updates, marketing materials like flyers and banners, and developing compelling campaigns and presentations.
2. Internal Communications: Keep our teams informed by crafting and posting internal announcements. You’ll also assist colleagues with our communications platform and support podcast and video production.
3. Marketing Inductions: Introduce new team members to our marketing processes, helping them get up to speed quickly.
4. Administrative Support: Ensure smooth department operations by managing purchase orders, onboarding vendors, distributing promotional items, and supporting the marketing team with various projects.
5. Knowledge Handover: Maintain a comprehensive handover document throughout your placement to ensure a smooth transition for the next student.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Current Undergraduate: Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media & Communications, or a related field, with a keen interest in a career in marketing communications. Other degrees will also be considered.
2. Strong Communicator: Excellent written English for copywriting and proofreading, with a creative flair and keen eye for detail.
3. Tech-Savvy: Quick to learn new digital tools and platforms, with a solid understanding of how to engage target audiences online.
4. Team Player: Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues, managers, and external suppliers.
5. B2B Enthusiast: An interest in understanding B2B customer needs, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing context.
