Job description

Project Management Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee logistics projects within the company
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth project progression
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
  • Create and deliver comprehensive project reports
  • Evaluate and assess the results of a project
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are adhered to
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Management, or Logistics OR be qualified by experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Transport & Distribution industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Prince2, PMP)
  • Previous experience of managing new DC builds and infrastructure changes
  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
