Are you a skilled carpenter interested in joining our dynamic framing crew in Plover, WI? We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a vital role in building the framework for new residential developments. You will be responsible for various tasks on residential construction sites, which may include operating machinery, carrying out basic carpentry duties, and ensuring compliance with on-site safety procedures.

Prior experience in construction is required, particularly in framing, possess proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment, have knowledge of blueprint reading as a bonus, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble structural beams, walls, and roofs using a variety of tools like saws, hammers, and nail guns to ensure the solidity of construction projects.
• Ensure accurate measurement and precise layout of building designs with meticulous attention to detail to adhere effectively to safety standards and building codes.
• Demonstrate physical endurance and the ability to work at heights while accurately interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including the efficient assembly and disassembly of temporary structures, contributing to the smooth operation of projects.
• Safely load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles with careful handling practices.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to establish a secure work environment for oneself and colleagues.
• Perform general maintenance duties such as organizing tools and equipment, managing materials, and disposing of waste properly on construction sites.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines promptly.
• Uphold consistent standards by diligently following company policies and procedures.
• Show a willingness to acquire new skills and take on extra responsibilities in the role of Framing Carpenter.

Qualifications

• To be considered for this Framing Carpenter position in Plover, WI, a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• The ability to lift items weighing over 50 lbs is essential for carrying out job duties effectively.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are necessary for this role based in Plover, WI.
• Strong communication skills are vital for smooth interaction with team members and supervisors.
• Previous construction experience, particularly in framing is essential.

Compensation

$20+ hourly
