A Day in the Life

Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are seasoned professionals with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare value chain, as well as breadth of experience across multiple disciplines. They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Principal Order to Invoice (OTI) and Accounts Payable (AP) Lead who will be working in the IHS Supply Chain and Customer Care back office, as part of an EMEA team. Your role will see you managing the OTI and AP processes predominantly within the UK market, ensuring processes and data quality is in place to deliver on time and accurate customer invoicing. You will have indirect reporting lines of team members in Prague and India. This is a remote role but based in UK. The role requires a willingness to travel within the UK to client and Medtronic locations (25%) and occasionally within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Ensure accurate and on time client billing, identify and address root cause analysis of invoicing issues. This will require working with multiple stakeholders across the IHS organisation, including commercial, service delivery, sourcing and procurement, customer care and supply chain.
• Establish a governance structure with internal and client teams to monitor and address billing related issues.
• Establish KPIs to track billing trends, usage forecasts, spend analyses at account level.
• Drive process improvement with billing (introduction of automation, quality checks).
• Ensure up to date Accounts Payables and prompt issue resolution for our UK supplier base.
• Work closely with IHS sourcing and procurement team to address vendor specific issues in order to bring down overdue invoices.
• Work alongside IHS and Medtronic Finance team on topics relating to costing/ revenue capture/ forecasts.
• Manage demands of stakeholders and ensure that needs are consistently met (e.g., ready to bill for new accounts).

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Broad experience in customer care, procurement and/ or billing or financial operations.
• Highly analytical/process oriented and able to identify and resolve root causes of inefficiencies.
• Extensive experience of ERP systems – either SAP and/ or Microsoft Business Central.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English) with the ability to liaise, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
