Practice Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Practice Accountant with 3 years' experience to join a well-established online accountancy services provider.

This fully remote role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £30,000 - £40,000.

As a Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and individuals.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide advice on taxation and accounting matters.
2. Prepare and submit statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and management accounts.
3. Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
4. Collaborate with team members to improve business processes.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What we are looking for:

1. Previously worked as a Practice Accountant, Senior Accountant, Accounts Senior, Accountant, Accounts Supervisor or in a similar role.
2. At least 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
3. Qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
4. Skilled in online accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or FreeAgent.
5. Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
