Randstad Digital has the pleasure of working with a fast-growing technology-driven firm in the financial sector that is building a world-class DevOps team in Newcastle. What You’ll Do:

• Automate infrastructure, environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure.
• Develop monitoring, diagnostics, and automation solutions for end users.

What We’re Looking For:

• Scripting & Development: PowerShell, Python, C#, or Java.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm.
• CI/CD Tools: TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, or equivalent.
• Monitoring & Logging: ELK Stack, Grafana, or similar.
• Database & Cloud: SQL Server, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience in Windows & Linux administration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business teams.
• Financial services experience is a plus but not essential.
• Degree: Minimum 2:1 in Computer Science or a related field (ideally from a Russell Group university) + strong A-levels (or equivalent).

Nice-to-have skills:

• Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, JIRA).
• Static analysis tools (SonarQube).
• VMware & SAN experience.
