Company Description
Poppy's Tutoring Company offers private tuition in Dorset and South London for young learners, with a focus on interactive, fun, and effective learning techniques led by a female team. The company prides itself on deepening children's knowledge and boosting their confidence through personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions. Currently, only online lessons are available.
Role Description
This is a remote role for an A-Level Maths Private Tutor at Poppy's Tutoring Company. The tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality, interactive online lessons to students. The tutor may be asked to see students in person in either South London or Dorset areas. The role will involve providing personalised support, explaining complex mathematical concepts, writing reports after lessons, setting homework, and enhancing students' understanding and confidence in mathematics.
Qualifications
- Mathematics and Algebra skills
- Experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring
- Experience in teaching neurodiverse students
- UK resident
- Strong communication skills
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Patience and adaptability in teaching different learning styles
- DBS checked
- A degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field is desirable
