Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Assistant

Job Title: Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Assistant

Are you an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner with a Level 3 qualification in childcare? Do you have a passion for supporting young learners and making a positive impact in their early education? We’d love to hear from you!

Position: Early Years Practitioner (EYP)
Location: Gosport
Hours: Shifts between the hours of 7:45am - 6:00pm, 37 hours per week (flexibility required)
Pay: £12.83 - £13.05 per hour

About Us:
At GSL Education, we partner with wonderful nurseries in Gosport that foster inclusive environments for children. As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you’ll have the chance to work with young learners, supporting their development and early education.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Support children, including on a 1:1 basis, within nursery settings
  2. Assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  3. Collaborate with a team of educators to help improve children's outcomes
  4. Gain the opportunity to go permanent with a nursery if you wish

What We’re Looking For:

  1. A Level 3 childcare-related qualification
  2. Previous experience in early years education or a related field
  3. A strong passion for helping children achieve their full potential
  4. Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to assist wherever needed
  5. Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
  6. A commitment to providing an inclusive, nurturing environment for young children
