The vision of Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is ‘Growing churches at the heart of each community’. Our projects are currently bringing about change and making a huge difference in our communities. They include new Christian communities, leadership formation and development projects, structural and governance projects, children and families engagement projects, creation of safe spaces for young people and much more. These projects are all led by passionate experts who are creative and engaged, but not always equipped with a project skill set.
We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). They will work with project leads to manage a number of projects to ensure they are well planned, financially robust and that they have everything in place to make the desired impact. The Project Manager will also collaborate with other Project Managers, the Director for Strategic Transformation, the Transformation Programme Support Officer, as well as other key staff, to ensure project reports feed into wider Governance structures and deliver on funder requirements.

The role is full-time, 35 hours per week for a fixed-term of 5 years (subject to funding).
Salary: £43,050 per annum
Pension: 12% employer contribution into the Church Workers Pension Fund.
The employer is the Birmingham Diocesan Board of Finance (BDBF).
The role reports to the Director of Strategic Transformation.
