Summary
Harley-Davidson has shifted from chasing unit volumes to a universal focus on local-level profitability as a strategic approach. Holistic business performance is at the centre of the Regional operating model. Leaders must be highly skilled in overall market development – driving brand strength, enhanced mix profiles, inventory management, and working capital efficiencies, as well as overhead cost control. The National Sales Manager will motivate, challenge, and develop a high-caliber team to drive local decision-making and accountability. National Sales Managers of the international business will also be uniquely required to manage the local Dealer relationships within their markets including the administration of local-level Dealer Advisory Councils. This role will be the point person to deliver sales, revenue, and margin for the market/region.
Objectives
The role has overall responsibility for Harley-Davidson's sales performance in the UK. The individual leads the execution of the market plan and oversees all sales activities in partnership with sub-regional resources. The National Sales Manager will directly lead the team of Field Sales Managers and Service/Customization Consultants in the management of the dealer network and the delivery of the associated retail key performance indicators.
Education Required
Bachelor's or equivalent degree required.
