Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Corda 5 Expert to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure distributed applications on the Corda 5 platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable blockchain solutions that meet high compliance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of blockchain solutions using Corda 5, ensuring system scalability, security, and performance.
2. Smart Contract Development: Design and implement CorDapps with robust smart contracts, leveraging Corda’s flows and vault structures.
3. Network & Node Management: Manage and configure Corda nodes and networks, ensuring optimal interoperability and reliability across distributed applications.
4. Consensus & Security: Implement and optimize Corda’s consensus protocols and encryption mechanisms to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
5. Integration: Build and maintain integration with existing systems, third-party applications, and other blockchain networks, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
6. Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize CorDapps for efficiency and scalability in real-world production environments.
7. Compliance & Documentation: Document all solutions and workflows, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and best practices for Corda 5 applications.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3+ years in blockchain development, with at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Corda, ideally Corda 5.
3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Kotlin (primary language for Corda) and Java.
• Deep understanding of Corda’s architecture, including flows, states, and vaults.
• Knowledge of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and networks.
• Experience in designing and deploying applications in a microservices architecture is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality, secure code.

Nice-to-Have:

1. Experience with other blockchain platforms like Hyperledger, Ethereum, or Quorum.
2. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, particularly in blockchain deployments.
3. Experience with Corda application development within regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
