Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Sales Support Manager to join our team at CDW UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales support, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to streamline sales processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing exceptional support to the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Hire, lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales support team leaders and individual contributors to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  2. Sales Process Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales support team, ensuring efficient and effective execution of sales processes. Implement and manage operational procedures to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  3. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders. Ensure high levels of external and internal customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  4. Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews with Team Leaders and individual contributors. Provide coaching and feedback to help team members achieve their full potential. Hold weekly 121s and Team meeting.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales support reports to senior management. Use data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement and performance management.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including segment and solutions sales, commercial operations, supplier management, supply chain, and customer support, to ensure alignment and support for customer and sales requirements.
  7. Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales support team. Ensure team members are up-to-date with the latest sales tools and techniques.

Travel Requirements:

  1. This role requires occasional travel within the UK to meet with key stakeholders, attend industry events, and collaborate with other CDW offices. The candidate must be willing and able to travel as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
