We are partnered with a globally renowned investment bank seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their elite technology team. This is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud solutions within a complex, fast-paced financial environment.

Role Overview: As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud solutions within an Azure-based environment. You will work closely with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure robust, efficient, and secure cloud infrastructure, leveraging automation tools such as Bicep or Terraform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep or Terraform.
• Optimise Windows-based cloud environments, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with security and DevOps teams to implement best practices for cloud governance and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a high-stakes financial environment.
• Work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days onsite per week in a central London office.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows-based infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Bicep or Terraform.
• Experience working in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud governance.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a high-performance setting.
