Cafe Assistant

Bad Moon Café is opening its second location & we’re looking for a new member to join our fantastic team. We are a small and energized business with a great work atmosphere. We take great pride in the amazing feedback we get from customers on our team, just check out our Google reviews!

We’re a board games café, and one of London’s best. Our customers come to play games and have something to eat with a coffee, beer, or cocktail. We also have a large number of board games for sale.

Responsibilities:

• Serving delicious coffee and drinks, including alcohol.
• Keeping the café clean and tidy, which is essential. This includes clearing and cleaning cups and glassware, wiping down tables, and sweeping & mopping the café every night when we close, amongst other tasks.
• Checking out customers purchasing board games and other items through our till.
• Restocking our products and ensuring they are well presented.
• Helping customers with information regarding upcoming events or groups they can join to play the games they like.

We are looking for someone who is available to work on the weekend (but not exclusively). You may be required to work late into the evening, as we are predominantly an evening business and stay open until 10pm.

Strong café or bar experience is essential for this role; it’s much easier for us to teach you to love playing games than to teach you to love clearing tables!
