Overview

The Senior Sales Manager’s position is responsible for growing sales from accounts in their territory; including end-user, D+B and dealer accounts. Responsible for educating your prospects and customers on the benefits of ergonomics and leveraging that knowledge in the sale of our products and services. 50% of this role is focused on direct B2C sales, so a strong, successful sales career demonstrating this is essential, as you will generate your own sales leads, developing and delivering your revenue goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Educating, marketing and selling the value of ergonomic workplace solutions to end-users, D+B and dealers.
  2. Maintain appropriate sales activity levels at all times; minimum 10 sales appointments per week.
  3. Achieve and exceed revenue, profitability and product mix sales goals.
  4. Develop business plan with management for weekly, monthly and quarterly strategic sales objectives.
  5. Set up product tests or demos for end-users as necessary.
  6. Facilitate presentations for prospective clients.
  7. Completing sales activity & opportunity reports, sales order paperwork, installation assistance, and sales training as well as maintaining customer contact database.
  8. Serves as a liaison between customer service and the customer on shipment and quality matters.
  9. Facilitate dealer training sessions on ergonomics & Humanscale products to dealer sales reps.
  10. Lead strategic business and forecasting discussions with dealer principles to meet dealer sales goals, establish new accounts and grow existing customer sales.
  11. Strong understanding of all of Humanscale’s products and consulting services, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools.
Qualifications
  1. Candidate will have 5+ years business sales experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience preferred.
  3. Successful track record of planning and execution.
  4. Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are required.
  5. CRM knowledge.
  6. Ability for overnight travel regionally 25%.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities.
  4. Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.
